TPE Material

Thermoplastic Elastomer, abbreviated as TPE, possesses advantages typical of both rubber and plastic materials. The products made from TPE have the potential to be recycled and reused without losing its fundamental properties.

TPEs possess a wide range of physical properties needed in a variety of products & applications. In addition, TPEs are suitable candidates for extrusion/injection molding and processing of conventional thermoplastics. Due to these factors, TPEs have been widely adopted and applied in various fields including but not limited to hardware/metalware, shoes, automobiles, electrical wires/cables, toys, flatware & food instruments, medical apparatuses, sports equipments, and construction materials.

Filastic™

Our flexible filament is formulated through the compounding of specially selected materials in the way such that the filament exhibits traits of superior elasticity and low-temperature resistivity. In conformity with all other BotFeeder filaments, the flexible filaments (Filastic™) are not incorporated with plasticizers and chemical additives of any sorts in order to promote a safer atmosphere within a confined workstation.

TPE Physical Properties

There are currently various types of TPE on the market, including but not limited to TPU, TPO, TPV, TPVC, TPI, TPA, and SEBS. These are just some examples among the 3,000+ types of materials derived from TPE.
